ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2010-08-17) Work continues this week on the Islamic center of greater St. Joseph.

The building located at 24th and Messainie in St. Joseph has a dome constructed and the covering still has to be attached. Tomorrow windows and doors are scheduled to be installed. Charles Mujahid Mohammed is one of about 50 Muslims living in St. Joseph. He says the Islamic center will help the followers as well as help them help the community. Construction on the Islamic center of greater St. Joseph is scheduled to be completed in about a month.
