ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2010-08-18) Any cultural event being planned for the St. Joseph area is eligible to apply for grant money.
The David H. Morton memorial fund chooses an event once a year to support financially and applications are now open. The fund is to pay tribute to Morton's contributions in the St. Joseph arts community. Criteria for the grant are need for financial support, the potential for creating new audiences or artistic experiences, quality of programming and community-wide impact. Organizers looking for financial help can contact the Allied arts council office in St. Joseph. The application deadline is September 20th.
