MARYVILLE, MO (2010-08-17) Missouri's governor says our school districts may get federal dollars passed to save teacher's jobs but some may not.
Reports say some schools in more financially well-off districts may get none of the $189 million sent to Missouri. Governor Jay Nixon says his administration is still evaluating requirements on how and where the money can be spent. Missouri schools with higher poverty rates and lower property tax collections have been told they could get most of the federal money.
