MARYVILLE, MO (2010-08-13) How Missouri schools operate in the future could be effected by a report being put together right now.

The Missouri senate's "Education Citizenry 2010" committee was formed by outgoing St. Joseph senator Charlie Shields. It's investigating the state's education foundation funding formula, urban education, and education reform. Chairman senator David Pierce says findings will most probably be budget-driven. The report is due back to the senate in December right before the next legislative session starts.
