ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2010-08-04) A memorial service is set for Thursday night in St. Joseph for the founder of one of Missouri's most bizarre museums.
George Glore was 73 when he died Monday. Glore greated the Glore Psychiatric Museum in the late 1960's and held the director's position there for nearly 30 years. The facility is located on the grounds of the old state hospital in St. Joseph and features exhibits ranging from a human hamster wheel to hospital cages and lobotomy instruments. Glore's memorial service will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 at the Heaton-Bownman-Smith and Sidenfaden chapel in St. Joseph.
