MARYVILLE, MO (2010-08-17) A North Missourian wins the title this year of the Missouri State Fair Queen.

20 year old Megan Westhoff is a Memphis Missouri native and currently a junior elementary education major at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. Westhoff took the crown over 59 other contestants to win Missouri State Fair Queen. As part of her winning performance, Westhoff told judges she wanted to travel across the state increasing awareness for agriculture in Missouri. She receives a $1,500 scholarship for winning this year's title.
