ALBANY, MO. (2010-08-12) Even though it's summer, students in Albany are working hard to ensure recycling helps the community.
A conservation class in the Albany district is working on the project with the help of funding from the heartland foundation. Bryan Prewitt is the superintendent. The class came up with the idea after attending training at the "Empower Plant" that's a civic-learning think tank in St. Joseph that trains students across our region to become better citizens.
