MARYVILLE, MO (2010-08-13) The largest economic development group in the Maryville area says it's brought in more than 3.2 million dollars in small business capital investments in the last 10 years.
Nodaway County economic development is a group of local government, business, and utility leaders attracting new business to the Maryville area. This week the group gave an update on successes, and executive director Langerock says conversations with perspective businesses are ongoing. Langerock says 540 jobs have been created in Nodaway County in the last 6 years. She adds 9 businesses are currently using the group to help get established or expand.
