MARYVILLE, MO (2010-08-24) The former public works director in Maryville is disputing the felony charges against him.

Greg Decker appeared in a Nodaway County courtroom this morning for his initial court hearing. Decker is charged with 6 felonies and 3 misdemeanor charges connected with theft, forgery and tampering with a motor vehicle. Investigators allege the activity was happening with city money and property dating back to 2008. Decker's attorney indicated he would plea "Not" guilty to the charges. His next court date is set for early October.
