PLATTE CITY, MO (2010-08-26) Funeral services are this morning for the Northwest senior killed in a weekend car accident near Kansas City.

Abbie Cockrill of Platte City was the loan fatality in a 2 car crash on Sunday. She was a senior education major who had just started student teaching in Platte City Schools. Her funeral service is set for 10:30 this morning at The First Christian Church in Platte City.
