CHILLICOTHE, MO (2010-08-31) Chillicothe Police are working a number of cases involving illegal drug activity in the city.

No word yet if investigators think the incidents are related, but several have been arrested on drug-related charges. The Chillicothe Police say two were arrested in bust involving pot and children. They say Dustin Ritchie and Sarah Webb were arrested in the 600 block of West Business 36 highway on possession of marijuana. Webb was also arrested for child endangerment and tampering with evidence. In another case police say April James was taken into custody this past weekend for minor in possession of intoxicants. That resulted from a traffic stop on highway 65 near the South side of the city limits. Officers have also arrested James Hoag for possession of a controlled substance after leaving the scene of an accident near third and hickory in Chillicothe.
