Bridge Back Open

ST. JOSEPH, MO (2010-08-30) A bridge in St. Joseph carrying 3,000 vehicles each day is now back open.

The 18th street bridge has been clsed for weeks as crews under loch(lock) sand and construction replaced the entire 1927 structure. Along with the upgrade, the new bridge can now accommodate the new bicycle and pedestrian trail along side Corby Parkway. Again, the 18th street bridge is now back open in St. Joseph. A ribbon cutting for the $1,300,000 project is set for this Wednesday afternoon at 4:30
