ANDREW COUNTY, MO. (2010-08-15) A Savanah resident was ejected from a vehicle and seriously injured in an accident on US 71 2 miles North of Savanah on Saturday.

The highway patrol says Austin Miller of Savanah was traveling southbound on 71 when he lost contol of the vehicle, it then struck a private drive, vaulted, struck an embankment then overturned twice. Miller was ejected from the driver's side window while airborne. He was taken to Heartland regional Med Center with serious injuries; Miller was not wearing a seatbelt.
