ALBANY, MO. (2010-08-19) The City of Albany sets the 2010 tax levy rate at this week's board meeting.

Aldermen chose to leave the library levy of point 4,600 unchanged, but raised the rates on the general, parks, and health levees. The parks levy was the largest increase rising from 27-47 last year to 27-72 this year. The Albany board also set the city-wide cleanup dates of September 15th and 16th that's following the city wide garage sale on the 11th. Board members also appointed 3 to the industrial development board. Those are Debbie Lippincott, Kassandra Miller, and Rodney Harris.
