MARYVILLE, MO (2009-08-07) Tomorrow's mini-triathlon in Maryville is the largest yet.

Parks and Recreation says 41 people have registered for the event's third year…. In which competitors will first swim at the Maryville Aquatic Center, then do a 10-k bike race and finish with a run.

Recreation Coordinator Shelly Hersh says attracting more participants shows the mini-triathlon is gaining in popularity.

Hersh says the Maryville mini-triathlon is now attracting interest from Clarinda and the Kansas City area.
