SAVANNAH, MO (2009-08-12) Members of the Savannah City Council faced a full slate of issues at their most recent meeting.

Council members approved an agreement between the city and the Mo-Kan Regional Council. The Mo-Kan Council will draft Savannah's community development block grant for street and drainage improvements to Cedar and East Price streets. City administrator Mike Fisher reported that all the easements for the main and sixth street improvement project have been obtained, so the project is ready to move forward with the approval of Mo. Fisher added there were no comments received during the fourteen day comment period regarding the middle school annexation, so that process will proceed as well.
