MOUND CITY, MO (2009-08-24) The Mound City School Board last week to approve their school year budget and discuss a school addition.
The Board approved this year's tuition rate of $3,500 and a $3.77 tax rate increase. Mound City Superindendant Kenneth Eaton says the tax levy was worked out with The State Auditors Office. The Board also discussed a new school project. The 2.5 million dollar project will add four classrooms, a new excersize area for physical education classes and a new entry system to the school. The project is expected to take 12 months to complete.
