MARYVILLE, MO (2009-08-06) August is Breastfeeding Month in the State of Missouri and a local group is spreading the word about the benefits of breastfeeding.

Le Leche (lay-che) League is hosting a meeting in Maryville this weekend to help mothers plan for their newborn.
Le Leche League is an international breastfeeding support organization, and the local chapter offers group meetings for families.
Local chapter leader Natalie Msechu (muh-zeh-chew) says the meeting will help expecting mothers prepare themselves…and their families.
The meeting is this Saturday morning beginning at 10 at the Maryville Public Library.
The Maryville Chapter holds meetings the first Saturday of each month.
