MARYVILLE, MO (2009-08-28) "A Groundswell of Opposition".
That's what Northwest Missouri Congressman Sam Graves called the protests against Healthcare Legislation. The Republican is touring the district in a series of "Main Street Matters" Townhall Forums. He says his constituents are voicing just as much concern on cap and trade as the proposed Healthcare changes. But he says he views the public outcry as something bigger than just those two issues. Graves says if Healthcare Reform doesn't pass by December it will be dead, because lawmakers don't won't to be discussing rewriting Healthcare Policy during next year's mid-term elections.
