Women will have the chance to learn outdoor skills.

Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge near Mound City will host the 7th annual women's outdoor skills workshop Friday and Saturday. Squaw creek and the national wild turkey federation have teamed up to host these classes. Staff member for the Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge Corey Kudrna says the workshop is a great experience for women.

Women ages 14 and older will have toe opportunity to choose 4 classes out of 30 available. Classes range from canoeing to pistol shooting to wildlife photography. For more information you can contact the Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge at 660-442-3187.
