Natural Disasters can catch you off guard and unprepared.

The Northwest Medical Reserve Corps will host "The Joplin Response: Are You Prepared?" a community preparedness seminar held tonight at 6:30 p.m. The Northwest Missouri coordinator for the Medical Reserve Corps, Kelly Kibirige says that being ready plays a role in recovering from natural disasters.

The seminar is open to the public and will be held at Wyatt Park Christian Church in St. Joseph tonight at 6:30 p.m.
