The coalition for cultural awareness is hosting an evening of poetry Thursday night at the Boji Stone on the Chillicothe Square.

They are inviting everyone to attend this event in honor of poetry celebration month. People are encouraged to do some readings if they would like to. President and events coordinator of the coalition for cultural awareness Tawnya Jones says the will feature local poet Marlon Mozee.

The event starts at 6 Thursday night at the Boji Stone on the Chillicothe Square.
