Several Northwest Missouri State students are heading to a national conference after placing at a state competition.
8 students from the school's Phi Beta Lambda chapter, an organization focused on bringing business and education together qualified to compete at the next level. The events held at conferences range from online multiple choice tests to presentations given before a panel of judges. The topics covered can be anything from computer applications to sports marketing. Those who placed first or second in the conference will compete in the national leadership conference in Texas. The chapter's executive president, Benjamin Throm, says his organization is involved in several different fundraising activities to fund their trip.
The Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference will be held June 24th.© Copyright, KXCV
