Maryville sets a timetable for removing unsafe buildings.

Last night the Maryville City Council approved a contract with the owner of 7 buildings designated as unsafe. The property owner must start demolition by the end of April and finish demolition by July 10th. Maryville city manager Greg McDanel says removing the buildings will improve the community.

McDanel adds the demolition will come at the property owner's expense.
