The Chillicothe Community marks a new era tomorrow as it breaks ground for its new hospital.
Local dignitaries will be at the site tomorrow afternoon to start the multi-million dollar facility, which Hedrick Medical Center CEO Matt Wenzel says will reflect the shifting trend of going from inpatient care of the 1970's to today's outpatient care model.
Wenzel says the new building will also stem the maintenance costs they are spending on the current structure. The groundbreaking is set for 4:30 tomorrow afternoon at the intersection of Highway 65 and Mohawk Road in Chillicothe. After 18 months of construction, it's expected to open its door for patients next fall.© Copyright, KXCV
