MARYVILLE, MO (2012-04-25)
Maryville Department of Public Safety will be hosting its 3rd drug take back.
They ask that you bring any unwanted or expired prescription or over the counter medications to the Maryville Hy-Vee on Saturday. This service is free and anonymous, with no questions asked. Director of Public Safety Keith Wood says its good to just get them out of the house.
Wood adds that flushing the prescriptions is not the right answer because it is not environmentally safe. The drug take back will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 at the Maryville Hy-Vee on Main Street. Auburn Nebraska will also be having a drug take back in the Pamida parking lot and at the Family Value Pharmacy.© Copyright, KXCV
