Today is the deadline for regional landowners to sign up for CRP enrollment.

The conservation reserve program gives annual federal payments to landowners who set aside eligible farmland for conservation purposes. Both the state Department of Conservation as well as your local USDA Service Center should be able to help determine eligibility. You can sign up at the USDA or FSA office by this evening at 5.
