Blunt on Post Offices

Missouri Senator Blunt is mirroring his Missouri colleagues concerns as a postal service bill moves its way through the senate.

Senator Claire McCaskill wants to put a 2 year freeze on closing rural post offices to save money. Blunt says he doesn't want to kick the can down the road for 2 more years, but says the Senate bill itself is being looked at carefully the next several days in Washington.

Blunt calls the post office one of the last anchors for keeping a sense of community in some of our smaller rural towns.
