The founder of a socially-responsible company is giving a lecture tonight in Maryville.

Blake Mycoskie lectures tonight on his company called "Toms Shoes" and the philanthropy it's doing across the world and why young people need to make a difference. Lecture organizer angel McAdams Prescott says Toms Shoes is becoming famous for giving a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair it sells. Tonight's lecture is at the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts. It starts at 7 O'clock.
