The hot sounds of Louisiana jazz come to Maryville tonight.

The "Hot 8 Brass Band" is playing as art of the University's Encore Performing Arts Series. Series director Angel McAdams Prescott says it's going to be a cultural experience for regional jazz lovers. The Hot 8 Brass Band Concert starts tonight at 7:30 at the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts in Maryville.
