Gas Rates Down

Good news for some Western Missouri natural gas customers: Rates are dropping slightly starting today.

State regulators have approved the rate reduction for Missouri Gas Energy to reflect the estimated changes in the wholesale costs. This means for the average MGE natural gas residential customer the current rate of $0.79 per hundred cubic feet will drop by about $0.07. MGE has facilities throughout northwest Missouri and serves about half a million customers.
