MARYVILLE, MO (2010-4-1) Northwest Missouri State students aim to expand upon the first electronic campus.
4 studetns are designing an iPhone application that will keep Northwest adjusting with the innovations of technology. The application, known as the Bearcat walking Tour will provide information, pictures and audio to go along with each building on Campus. Assistant professor in the computer science and information systems department Dr. Michael Rogers is the project mentor for the application. He says if administration is interested in adopting the application it could be used as a great recruiting tool during Campus visits. In addition to the Bearcat Walking Tour application, other teams of Northwest studetns are working on apps for companies from St. Joseph to Omaha.
