ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2010-4-9) For the second time in less than a year, thousands of dollars are headed to the Rolling Hills consolidated library for computer upgrades.
The library will match 25% but get more than $25,000 state dollars and will use the money for replace old computers and purchase new equipment. Rolling Hills expects to buy 4 new public access computers for the Belt Branch library in St. Joseph, 11 new staff computers for both the Belt and Savannah branches, a new file server, video conferencing equipment, and a sound system for the new conference room in the Belt branch. Last fall the libraries got nearly $14,000 in computer upgrades.
