MISSOURI STATE (2010-4-14) Governor Nixon has appointed a Hamilton attorney as the new acting judge for a 5 County region in North Missouri.
Daniel Chadwick will serve the 43rd judicial circuit, which includes Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, and Livingston Counties. Chadwick replaces judge Warren McElwain of Maysville who retired in February after 31 years on the bench. Chadwick is one of two democrats and two republicans who have filed for the permanent bench in the 43rd circuit. That primary is set for August with the new judge to be seated in the November general election.
