Macon Accident

MACON COUNTY, MO. (2010-4-13) An overcorrection led to a serious one car accident in Macon County this morning.

According to the highway patrol, Michael Combs of Laplata, Missouri was driving southbound on old highway 63 about 5 miles north of Atlanta when he started to run off the right side of the road. Combs overcorrected and ran off the left side, struck an embankment and overturned. Combs suffered serious injuries and was transported to University hospital Columbia by an air evac helicopter.
