CHILLICOTHE, MO (2010-4-22) Emergency Environmental responders arrive in Chillicothe after two semi-trucks crash.
Spilling Diesel fuel and starting on fire. The collision happened about 7:30 yesterday morning on highway 36 about 4 miles East of Chillicothe, and ruptured a tank spilling the fuel into a nearby ditch and culvert, which ran into a small creek. The Emergency responder came in from the DNR's macon office, and oversaw the fuel spill cleanup. The two drivers one from Cedar rapids and the other from Highland, Kansas, escaped the accident without any injuries. The pieces of their two rigs burnt up in the crash.
