HAMILTON, MO (2010-4-23) The East bound lanes of highway 36 will soon be closed at Hamilton.
Earlier this week eastbound traffic on 36 struck the highway 13 bridge at the Hamilton exit causing damage to bridge beams. Emergency repairs will take place beginning May 3rd. Weather permitting the eastbound lanes will be closed from 7:30 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon May 3rd through May 6th and May 10th through May 13th. Eastbound traffic will be directed around the construction on the exit ramps and the bridge will stay open during repairs. Mo-Dot has also scheduled a complete re-decking of the bridge starting June 1st which will be performed by Loch Sand and construction company of Maryville.
