Gas Tank Lawsuit

ST. JOSEPH, MO (2010-4-22) Owners of a former gas station in St. Joseph have been turned over to the state attorney general for prosecution.

The state says the former Rowland's Amoco located in the 800 block of Mitchell avenue in St. Joseph does not meet current underground storage standards. Environmental experts say 4 steel tanks buried in the property are subject to corrosion. State regulators are suing to make sure the tanks are properly and permanently closed.
