Cooling Rebates

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-4-28) Our region's major power supplier is teaming up to offer rebates for homeowners putting in heating and cooling systems.

Missouri Gas Energy and Kansas City Power and Light are collaborating to offer joint-customers of both companies rebates. Homeowners installing energy star natural gas furnaces can get $200 back. Those installing a 14 "SEER" or above air conditioner can get up to $850 back. The companies say it's a way to help promote energy conservation now that construction season has arrived.
