CARROLLTON, MO. (2010-4-1) The Carrollton school board continues to wrestle with the unknown budget.
At the last board meeting superintendent DeLany gave the board an update on the State's dwindling income and sales taxes, saying there was still some unknowns on how much the district might be cut. The Carrollton district has also lost about $75,000 than last year because of railroad and utilities being down. Board members also got an update on the auditorium construction, which is almost complete. The seating, theatrical curtains, and electrical upgrades are all finished, and staff has been trained on operating the new equipment.
