Brookfield Bank Arrest

BROOKFIELD, MO. (2010-4-13) A suspicious transaction at a bank in Brookfield tips off authorities, leads to an arrest, and could connect other crimes throughout North Missouri.

The highway patrol says they spotted the suspect at a gas station in Moberly matching the description of a man trying to cash a stolen check in Brookfield. The trooper also discovered the car at the gas station was reported stolen from Minnesota. Arrested is 22 year old Adam Norstedt of Spicer, Minnesota. They also arrested him for possession of drug paraphernalia. They later searched his hotel room in Moberly and allegedly found property that had been stolen from the Milan area.
