Animal Shelter Funds

TRENTON, MO. (2010-4-6) The Green Hills animal shelter in Trenton is bringing the community together to get funds for the non-profit.

For the next two months, a dozen businesses in Trenton, Princeton, and Jamesport are allowing customers as they're checking out to donate a dollar to the Green Hills shelter. Organizers say it took 10 years for the recent opening of the shelter. They're also allowing donors to pick a paper dog or cat which will be displayed at the stores to show their support for the shelter. The support runs through May 31st.
