Wayman

Livingston County, MO (2009-05-04) A half million dollar grant is awarded to help North Central Missouri water supplies.

The money is going to the Livingston County Public Water Supply District Number 3.

Officials there will use the grant for drinking water system improvements, including a new elevated water storage tank, transmission mains and pump station.

Money is also coming in from the D-N-R's revolving loan fund and a community development block grant.

All totaled the project is estimated to cost just under 2 million dollars and should be finished next April.
