Trenton, MO (2009-05-13) Starting next Monday a major intersection in Trenton will begin to look different.
Mo-Dot is installing temporary pavement markers and adjusting signal timings at the intersections of Highway 6 and Main Street in Trenton.
The signal changes are needed so engineers can observe traffic patterns, then prepare for permanent changes at Main and Highway 6.
Those include eliminating left turn lanes so larger trucks can use the intersection better.
Changes will also be made to the stop locations.
Again- the temporary changes start Monday and should be in place for a few days before the construction for permanent change begins.
