St. Joseph, MO (2009-05-11) Western Missouri customers of Missouri Gas Energy could soon see their bills going up.
The Kansas City based company also has facilities in St. Joseph and has filed a request to state regulators to raise a surcharge on the monthly bills.
If approved the surcharge would rise from 41 cents to 61 cents each month for the average customer.
This is to pay for gas pipeline replacements and relocations and is on top of other charges customers are already getting.
