Harrison County Highway

Wayman

Harrison County, MO (2009-05-01) Mo-Dot says a major resurfacing project in Harrison County will start the middle of this month.

A contract for 2-point-6 million dollars is awarded that will resurface about 10 miles of Highway 136 in Harrison County.

The work will be from the Gentry County line near New Hampton to the intersection of 69 and 13 in Bethany.

The contractor says weather permitting, the work will start mid-May and should be finished before the fourth of July holiday.

They do plan on closing Highway 136 and the Highway 13 intersection in Bethany for a 2-week period as that intersection is realigned.

A detour will be provided.
