Shenandoah, Ia. (2009-05-15) The decision by Chrysler to close dealerships across the country impacts several in our area.

KXCV news has confirmed the auto giant is pulling out of 789 dealerships, including Atchison Automotive Group in Atchison Kansas. . . . . Smith Motors in Brookfield….. . . . Bee's Chevy-Olds in Shenandoah. . . . . .Stan Boos Auto Sales in Hiawatha. . . And Tony Martens Dodge in Platte City in our area.

Smith Motors in Brookfield declined to comment on the situation but Dean Beecher of Bee's Chevy-Olds in Shenandoah says business will continue as usual for next couple of weeks.

With a total Chrysler inventory of only twenty percent Bee's Chevy and Olds may not feel the pinch other dealerships with higher Chrysler inventory will soon experience.
