MARYVILLE, MO (2009-05-05) One of the longest serving and most crucial employees at Northwest Missouri State is retiring.
Ray Courter has served as a financial officer of the University for the past 37 years… working as the top budget administrator since 1996.
Courter's position is far reaching, overseeing and managing the University's Physical and
Service operations with nearly 2 hundred employees that touch nearly every aspect of the campus community.
Under Courter's direction the University in Maryville has executed 225 million dollars in facility upgrades.
The President of the institution says it's better, stronger, and more forward looking because of Courter's dedication, passion, counsel ,and professional expertise.
Courter is one of several top administrators leaving Northwest this summer, which also includes the President, who is retiring after 25 years.
Courter's retirement is effective july first.
