COVID-19 continues to impact the city of Creston


CRESTON, Iowa - Months into the pandemic, the coronavirus still plays a heavy a role at Creston city council meetings.

At the latest meeting, the Council approved a resolution to allocate a $5,000 grant to the city's food pantry while updating residents on its reopening plan.

City Administrator Mike Taylor told KXCV/KRNW thatCreston is still in a phase of limited reopening, but expects city hall to reopen sometime in the next month.

Taylor adds that park restrooms remain closed and could stay that way for the summer.
