The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat women's and men's basketball teams face Nebraska-Kearney tonight in a doubleheader in Kearney. The women tip off at 5:30 and the men 7:30.  The Bearcat Radio Network will begin it's broadcast at 5:10 with the pregame show for the women. The Bearcat men go into the game at 17-0 overall and 7-0 in the MIAA in first place, two games in front of Pittsburg State.  UNK is 6-11 overall and 1-7 in the MIAA, tied for last with Central Oklahoma. Bearcat head men's basketball coach Ben McCollum says his team needs to build on Saturday's performance against Missouri Western.

"Things just continuing defensively giving continuoursly that kind of effort and that kind of concentration that we had tonight.  And then offensively, continue to expose certain things.  Eventually you'll get to a win-or-go-home situation.  You have to be able to execute a high level offensively and get exactly what you're waiting to get."

In the women's game, Northwest stands at 6-10 overall and 2-5 in the MIAA. Nebraska-Kearney is 11-6 and 4-4.
